Pay starting at $16.50/hour
Must be able to stand for periods of 2-2.5 hours between breaks, must be able to lift up to 40lbs of apples at any given time. No experience necessary, will train. Must be punctual.
Tow Motor Operator
Full Time - Year round
Job Description:
Sun Orchard Fruit Company is a fresh apple packing company in Western New York working with a select group of quality growers in the same region; we market their fruit to some of the best retailers and markets in the industry. We are currently looking for a tow motor (forklift) operator to join our warehouse team to aid in daily activities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The successful candidate will be required to move bins of fruit and other various materials to and from different locations throughout the facility. The candidate will also be required to load and unload tractor trailers.
Requirements:
Work full‑time (40+ hours per week). On site.
Has, and can maintain, a clean driving record.
Able to operate tow motor and hand truck.
To be considered for a tow motor operator candidate must have 2-3 years of tow motor experience.
Work independently, multi‑task, and flexibly adapt the work plan to solve problems and achieve consistently high quality results in a reasonable timeframe.
Must be punctual. Hours 7:00am-4:00pm Mon thru Fri, 8 hour shift
Compensation & Benefits
Pay scale: $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
Profit Sharing along with paid vacation.
